Hello,
Does any one know who this character is and how old this statue might be? It is 8 inches long and 7 inchaes tall and somewhat heavy. It seems to be old but may be it is made to look old.
I have posted high resolution picture at the link below.

Seems to me this is authentic. Hmm not sure who this character is but reminds me of a person called Zhang Qian during the Han dynasty, he is one of the key person who helped open up the hexi corridor which later came to who we ha e known as the silk road. From this piece I can really imagine during those time he was riding a horse across the western plain.

Hi Collin, thank you so much for your feedback, I have been waiting patiently for some one to post a response :)
Do you think this statue can actually be from Han dynasty? Like 2000 years ago?
Also this man is holding what appears to be a scroll. So I was thinking may be he is supposed to be a well known Chinese wise man. But then again I can imagine a diplomat could also be holding a scroll like a message from a Chinese king....
