These are two panels which are painted in a rich red/burgundy color.
I've owned these panels for fifty years. They have some light cracaleure, and many minute signs of age. I will include more photos of details, including edges, once it posts on the forum.

The style, of these panels, is quite different from other screen panels I have researched. These pieces are heavy and very solid. I am at a loss. They are haunting, to me.
They seem to be made of 1" slats of wood, which are laminated with solid panels of thin wood.
