Posted By: Gary Thu, Mar 22, 2018 IP: 81.129.150.41

This looks like a painting to me with a magnifying glass I can even see a brush hair in the yellow on one area,,, the paper is laid on silk the paper measures 10 inches by 8.5 inches, there are seals on it,, the seal near the calligraphy looks like one I have seen on Qi Baishi paintings I don't know what the other seal is? comments welcome.

Looks to be a woodblock print of a genuine Qi Baishi.

Quite a few of these out there.

This is a Qi Baishi print.
Probably a watercolor print of Rong Bao Zhai publisher
(Peking) from the early 50-es. The prints are extremely detailed, using a special technique to apply ink with a brush to the printing blocks which recreated the intensions of the painter perfectly.
Inscriptions,
小名阿芝 - Xiaoming Azhi (Childhood name Azhi)
(One of the signatures used by Qi Baishi)
Seal,
齊大 - Qi Da (Too Rich) (One of the art-names used by the artist)
Seal on the left side,
借山翁 - Jieshan Weng (Old man of the borrowed hill) (Another art-name used by the artist)

With regards,
I.Nagy
