I thought this painting was nicely done. Is it anyone known or just a tourist type of piece. Thanks for the help

Thanks I.Nagy for the information. When I search the name I get results for a painter named Li Hongzhu who paints some similar scenes of birds. There is currently an eBay auction for one of his paintings, and in the description the seller claims that he is a listed artist and one of his paintings sold at Sotheby's for $8000. Could this be the same artist as the paintings that turn up on Google and that eBay auction?

Dear Brett,
The painter named Li Hongzhu 李洪柱 you got result - is the same painter. On the attached picture to "Li Hongzu 李洪柱 Original Chinese Painting on Silk,2 white Cranes.." eBay/Henningfineart. the first
seal of artist is same, but the signature is different in style. The dating is 1980 at
Corrida、Korida ? 科里達 (somewhere outside of China)
On the other picture (Sotheby(NY)/Yachang Auction 2015, 雪爪星眸)the signature and seal
are different.
Thereafter, I do not umderstand why a painter so valued at auction houses is not shown on Chinese web sites and not included in name dictionaries.

With regards,
I.Nagy
