Subject:Kangxi Teapot or Limehouse London Teapot
Posted By: John Thu, Jun 14, 2018 IP: 94.197.120.8 Hello Everyone, I acquired a beautiful Teapot, it has had the handle replaced. I thought it was kangxi or Kangxi export. But I came across Limehouse , Limehouse I have heard had smiley faces or sun faces into the design. My Teapot has this. So can anyone let me know what they think. Is it Kangxi Export Decorated at Limehouse or another English porcelain company such as bow for example. I am suspected it could very well be Limehouse. Here is a link and the photos , many thanks any help would be much appreciated! |
