A pile of older prints was bought from a dealer, would love to know what are they depicting and approximate age.

御即位式記念画圖 - Memorial Picture of the Enthronement Ceremony

紀元二千五百七十五年 -
Japanese Imperial Year 2575 (1915)
(From the legendary foundation of Japan,660 BC)
大正四年十一月  - October of the 4th Year of Taisho (1915)

於京都御所紫宸殿御擧行 - Performance of Ceremony at the Shishinden Pavilion of Kyoto Imperial Palace

(This pavilion is the most important building whithin the palace grrounds. The enthronement ceremonies of Emperor Taisho and Emperor Showa took place here. - According to the Japanese text on the fringe of the picture the Celebration of Daijosai (大甞祭)or "Celebration of the Big Tasting"
is depicted here. This celebratikon is considered one of the most important state ceremonies that accompany the accession of the new Japanese emperor)

Esteemed I. Nagy thank you very much for your assistance once again. So it seems to be 2 pictures of the same historical event, I wonder how common were those memorial pictures. The stack of scrolls contains several more prints of the Royal family which look prewar as well, Guess they belonged to some scholar or a collector. Will look up the japanese internet segment for more clues. Best regards. Spartakos
