This is a kind of Buddhist amulet from China.
Inscripton,
如来佛手　-　Tathagata's Hand (Buddha's Hand)
(lit."one who has thus arrived" -one of the titles of Buddha)
The monkey in Buddha's palm is called Sun Wukong
(孫悟空）the Monkey King, character with supernatural powers in the novel Journey to the West.
