Subject:Japanese writing at the bottom of carved teapot.
Posted By: Spartakos Wed, Aug 22, 2018 IP: 49.49.238.217

This rather large (1,2 L) clay teapot is very nicely carved, there is 2 artists signatures. Also a very long inscription at the bottom any ideas what is it? Any secret tea recipe?
Thank you.

高資作 - Takashi-saku - Made by Takashi
Tokoname ware from Aichi.
The inscription on the bottom is quite smudgy.
According to it, a certain Mr(s)Ozaki bought it in 1963 in the Nara Matsuzakaya Store at a special time limited sale one minute before closing time.

With regards,
I.Nagy
