Subject:Translation / information about a book of watercolor paintings

I have recently come into possession of an accordion book that is composed of watercolor sketches. I really know nothing about it. A translation of the writing (and even whether this is Japanese or Chinese calligraphy) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
