Subject:Asian brass bowl

Can anyone add some history to this bowl. I dont think it was for food or incense. Storage?

There are no markings other than the obvious decorative lid, which my guess is Happiness, Wealth, Longevity and Luck. Not necessarily in that order. :)

Approx: 5.5” wide
(I may have by error posted this on the message board earlier, but now have a better understanding of your site)
