the carvings appear to be well done and I am hoping to learn a translation of the calligraphy from the experts

Hi Kevin,

Obviously still another from the previously noted collection of seals. This one is interesting in that it may refer back to the carver of one of the other seals, Qu YiChang 屈易廠. The side carving appears to read: 仿福廠師印法, 辛卯冬, 登安作. Which I interpret as saying "in the style of teacher FuChang's seal style. Winter 1951. Done by DengAn."

I would appreciate brother rat's input as I may be getting a bit lost.

The carving of the seal face is a bit hard to read, The first character is mei 梅, which is both a family name and the word for plum. The second character is gao 羔 meaning a lamb or kid, and the third character so far defeats me. This could be a name seal, or perhaps something else.

I look forward to there's opinions.
