Subject:Silk Painting

Hello
A friend of me recommended that forum to me.
Unfortunately have no experience with Asian art. Recently I found this silk painting for little money.
Now I would like to know more about it.
Is it from Japan or China. What does the signature say.

Your painting is Japanese
Signature and seal read alike,
華堂　-　Kadō

Kida Kadō　木田華堂　1802-1879
Painter from Nagoya, was born in Mino, Fuwa county、Imasu village (Today's Sekigahara)
Learned painting at (Kishi)Ganku and Ganryo, was the favoorite painter of the Owari clan.

Many many thanks to you! That's great.
I think it's probably from a later artist in the 20th century. If you search google you can find several similar paintings.
It seems not to be a lot worth but I like it anyway.
