Nippon on ceramics was used in the period from 1891 till 1921 due to the McKinley Tariff Act.
After 1921 Nippon was changed in (Made in) Japan.
So this nice plate is made somewhere between 1891 and 1921, but I have no idea by what artist or kiln.
