Subject:[Chinese painting 2]
Posted By: Jaesoo Jung Sat, Nov 24, 2018 IP: 119.206.218.204

Hi, I own this painting and need someone who can verify the factual information about this.

I am guessing this is a painting by Zhang Daqian.

These are information that I am curious about:

1. What does it say in Chinese in this painting?
2. What is the approximate century that this painting has been painted?
3. Who painted this?

I would appreciate any information about this.

Thank you!

Inscriptions,
Title,
敝希家張僧繇滽 - The Sanguine Zhang Sengyou*
(*Zhang Sengyou 502-557, one of the Four Great Painters of the Six Dynasties)
Colophon,
甲戌夏蜀郡 - Year of Wood-Dog. Summer (1934) in Shu County
Signature,
大千居士 - Retired scholar Daqian
張爰 - Zhang Yuan

The pseudonym and name belongs to the famous 20th century Chinese painter Zhang Daqian 1899-1983 (more about him on Google)

With regards,
