I can't figure out the characters on the left, only that it ends with "Zo" 造 = made (by).
On the right it reads: Dai 大 Nippon 日本 Seto 瀬戸 = Great Japan and Seto the area where this was made.
It usually helps by putting not only the mark on this forum, but also the item itself.
Regards,
Martin.

I was hoping that I.Nagy or one of the other experienced language experts could and would help with the translation of the left part of this signature.

Just because I'm curious too who the artist is.

Thanks in advance,
Martin Michels.

If I am right it reads,
井上幸女造 - Inoue Kōme (Yume, Yukime) -zō

With regards.

I.Nagy,
You're wonderful, thanks for answering my call.
I think you are totally right, now we have the characters, the 2nd part of the name is indeed Kome or Yume or Yukime according the Japanese Kanji Name Dictionary.
Yours sincerely,
Martin.
