Subject:Needing Chinese Seal & Calligraphy Translated on Scroll Painting
Posted By: Gary Knudtzon Tue, Jan 22, 2019 IP: 97.113.14.42

I have found an old Import Shipping Label on an Antique Scroll that I need Translated. I have already had the Poem and Seal on the Painting itself Translated but forgot about this Shipping Label that might have some Important Information on it. ANY Help you can give me will be HIGHLY Appreciated! Thank You! Gary Knudtzon

The followings can be read from the half-torn label:
Top line: x同xx(Red printed): (Cannot be interpreted) :
Middle line: 作者:Author (Red printed) 何石泉 He Shiquan (Blue hand-written) 画心尺寸:Picture size (Red printed)
Lower line:Faint traces of unidentifiable red printed characters, 艹州 (Blue hand-written) Presumably
蘇州 Suzhou (City in Jiangsu province)

With regards,
I.Nagy

Thank You Again I.Nagy! This Label on my Scroll Painting was covered up by Tissue Paper and I had not noticed it. Doesn't shed any more light on the subject i'm afraid. Best Regards, Gary Knudtzon
