Posted By: Tom Aspden Sat, Apr 20, 2019 IP: 51.6.20.116

Hi, can somebody help to translate the marks found on these two ojime beads, as well as the scene on the sevond, as I know the first if of the longevity god.
Thanks for the help

Inscriptions on both beads read,
阿弥陀佛 - Amidabutsu - Amithabha (Celestial Buddha of Mahayana Buddhism)

With regards,

Thanks for the translation, do you have an idea of when these beads may date from? my first instinct was the early 20th century but I'm not certain.

Tom
