Hello, I have this small moriage satsuma ginger jar that appears to be fairly old and was purchased along with a group of antique items from an estate. Unfortunately the mark is quite faded so it is difficult to discern. There appears to be heavy wear on both the foot and at the rim as well. Would something like this be more indicative of Meiji or Edo period, or is it early 20th century? I am just starting to get my feet wet when it comes to Chinese and Japanese antiques and would like to learn as much as possible regarding how best to identify early pieces. It did not cost me much and I like it either way, but if anyone can offer any advice or information it would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Satsuma indeed, made by Kinkozan, 1920's.
Luckily there is 1 part of your mark visible, see the 1st picture. These are the 3 mountains of a Kinkozan mark as to be seen in the 2nd picture.
