Subject:Identifying the year and Pattern if possible

Hi, I just got this teacup and saucer in a box of stuff from an auction. I believe this is Kutani porcelain and I think it's from the 60s but I'm not certain of this. I really want to know the maker and a date range if possible, I'm also interested in what this pattern is called. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Megan

The marking is indeed Kutani 九谷 in a somewhat stylized way.
You're right about 1960's, see an identical mark on this link:
http://gotheborg.com/marks/kutani.shtml - Kutani - Generic two character mark.
