Subject:Choker - necklace
Posted By: Hiltrud Tue, May 28, 2019 IP: 91.17.17.83

Hello everybody,
maybe someone can help me:
I have a filigree necklace probably made of silver with possibly carved white green stones with an Asian (?) Punch.
I'm interested in whether anyone can say to the punch, the stone and the age.
Thanks in advance

Jadeite and silver. Nice piece.

The white green stones look like Jadeite, But just from the pictures I cannot tell if it is a natural color, or an artificial green.

Jadeite is obviously natural, and to the person who said they can't tell if it is natural.....this forum is not for trolling posters so they sell you their stuff. Bad form to include your email.

The Chinese characters stamped into the piece are "足紋" (zu wen), meaning "Standard-purity Silver". In my experience, this probably means coin silver, or about 80-percent pure.

Best regards,

Bill H.
