Subject:Chinese Inro?
Posted By: M.Shen Wed, May 29, 2019 IP: 177.81.213.209

I got this 20th century sagemono with a chinese like ornamentation incised on the Inro, front and back.

Could anybody help me with the translation of the inscriptions? or maybe any possible information about authorship, and if it's commom that this traditional japanese object be made in China.

The netsuke looks older, and likely japanese and has no signature, showing this deity(?) with rounded ear lobes.

Thank you so much in advance!

Pic.1,
一箭双雕 - Hit two hawks with one arrow
甲子年 ‐ Year of Wood-Rat (....1924...)
石生刻 - Carved by Ishō (Isō or Ishu)
(If Chinese it reads Shi Sheng)
Seal,
石生 - Ishō

Pic.2
龐滑波水 - Huge sliding wave
Same colophon as Pic.1

On an Aucfree auction site it is commented as
"antique article " (時代物)only.
