Ive been trying to figure this signature out for years but have not.can anyone please help me?

Can anyone read or recognuze the signature. On this famile noir vase?

When I look at the neck of the vase, I rather think it's a Chinese one instead of a Japanese.
Perhaps others can tell more about the marking.

Your vase is in the painting style and palette of some ceramics I've seen with marks of the Japanese "Yamatoku" (Mountain Virtue) kiln. However, none of the Yamatoku pieces I've come across had this particular cursive form of mark.

yes..i was told the signature was japanese..
