Subject:Enamel Porcelain Vase Identification
Posted By: Jay Fullman Sat, Jun 08, 2019 IP: 2601:405:c180:77d:5c

Hi all,

I just bought a small (8") enamel style Chinese porcelain vase and am quite curious if anyone has anything they can offer about it. I suspect it's from the republic.

The reasons I bought it:
1. It is hand glazed in its details rather than stamped with glazing over an outline stamp. Irregularities show hand workmanship.
2. It has age marks, particularly to the gilding as well as the enamel glazing.
3. The detail in the glazing seemed to be decent in quality and style.
4. I've not seen much glazing like this in Chinese porcelain and it has nice reserve scenes.

Any help would be appreciated. I will add more pics in replies.
