A time ago adquired this vase from a distinguished family who adquired it in Europe between 1950 and 1960.
After investigating deeple this piece i found a very similar piece in the beijing palace museum.
Is a vase with tipical Yuan motif.i believe it wa modified in later time .some colors added and the tipical base with 3 kilins .only vases from yuan and ming period were used to be embelished and adapted in later times.
the body is made in hammered cooper body and the base made of cooper has severals holes, not drilled but with primitive piercing method.maybe it was part of the first support system adapted for the bronze kilins .later it was modified again with modern method and screws.
it has tipical vitrous glazes from yuan times.the motled green ,red lapizlazuli blue.but some colors seems to be applied later.the question is. was it made in yuan, ming or qing period.67 cm height with kilins base
if someone could help me i will appreciate very much.
