The marks reads: 志山, in native Japanese (KUN-reading) Kokorozashi-yama, In Sino-Japanese (ON-reading) Shisan or Shizan. The last name is the most probable one.
No information found about the artist.
Since there is no pictures of the object, that's all I can help you with.
