Ling Xu　1919-2016
Native of　Húzhou, Zhejiang
Graduated the Chinese Painting Department of Shanghai Xinhua Art College in 1941. At the age of 22 he held a solo exhibition in Shanghai, since then he has made Chinese painting a lifelong career. Was honorary dean of the Jiaxing Chinese Painting Academy. Was famous of illusory goldfish paintings. These goldfish paintings have been presented to presidents, Reagan, Bush, Gorbachev etc. as national gifts.
