Subject:Chinese or Japanese Shonzui style vase seal mark to base
Posted By: Sally Sun, Oct 13, 2019 IP: 90.255.40.126

Hi , this is a small vase 6"/15cm. I 'd be interested to hear any thoughts as to date and place of origin and what the mark means. Apologies for image quality , I hope it 's readable. Thanks

According to forum contributor Martin Michaels and other sources, including the Lita Xuling Kelley website, this is a late 20th century mark of "Dragon Peak" (Ryu-Ho - 龍峰), used by the Japanese Sanyo Porcelain Company.

Best regards,

Bill H.
