Subject:Re: Miniature Cloisonne Teapot - Help With Makers Mark
Posted By: Bill H Thu, Nov 14, 2019 This mark, which reads "Gu yi zhai cang - 古藝齋藏 - Collection of the Ancient Antiques Studio" has previously come up before in the forum on what appeared to me to be a late 20th century cloisonné box. See link for the earlier discussion thread, which has a breakdown on individual character meanings. Your teapot may look old because of greater age, or because a previous owner actually used it to heat water for tea on a burner. |
