Hello I was hoping that someone could give me some information
about the makers mark on this brass ashtray. Any help is greatly appreciated. I believe above the mark it says VAPAN .

翠光　-　Suikō　（Japanese)　-　Cuiguang (Chinese)
Probably the scratched letters are "JAPAN"
I can't find metal artist or foundry with the above name.
