Subject:Help With Translation and Opinion Of Authenticity
Posted By: Jerry Wed, Sep 16, 2020 IP: 24.209.216.178

I bought a couple pieces at a local estate auction, and I have no idea if they are authentic. I could use some help with the translation, and knowledge if they are real or intended to deceive. I didn't pay a lot for them, about what I might pay for a lottery ticket.

Hi Jerry,
I don't read nor understand the certification. These types of certificates are not reliable. Not say in the same league as GIA or the Hong Kong Gem and Jewelry laboratory in Hong Kong.
Based on your pictures your items appear to be jadeite jade. The first one is a saddle ring. The other is a belt buckle. They are in my opinion modern interpretations.
I am unable to verify by way of your pictures as to whether they are natural or have been dyed or treated.
Grade A is the best as it's untreated. Whereas Grade B & C have treatment and worth substantially less than Grade A.
If you have access to a long range UV light you maybe able to determine what grade your items are.
Put simply using a UV the items should display no bright or highlighted areas indicating treatment.
Hope this helps you.

Here are the missing translations,
Upper certificate;
Result - Jade (A Goods)
Color - Light green color, pale purple color
Shape - Carved shape

Lower certificate、
Conclusion - Jade (A Goods)
Weight - 38,97 gram
Size/Shape - Carved shape
Color - Light green color
Refractive - 1,66 (Point measurement)
Optic character - Inhomogeneous aggregate
Magnification test - Fiber pilotaxitic texture
Spectrum - Visible 437nm absorbed line
Remark - None
Special test - Under infrared light displays natural jade characteristics

The meaning of "A Goods" marking in China is clear; Imitations made of genuine materials

With regards,
I.Nagy
