This looks like a recent Jadeite carving.All sorts of designs popped up, some very nice, and some not so. . in 100 years they will be antiques. With Jade collecting one has to be very patient.

It appears to have been produced by mechanical high powered tools. Uneven lines, and no hand made tool marks.

This stems from a period where plenty of Jade was available, and yes, it was worked with electrical tools. Much cheaper and larger than the far more expensive old carvings

Hi Don,
This one has the makings to be jadeite jade. It's modern and desirable by young collectors in China. They prefer new over old for reasons I don't fully understand.
It's difficult to determine by just a single image. It would need to be handled etc.
