Subject:Vintage Oil Painting. Looks like a Takeshi Hayashi but cannot read signature...
Posted By: Sun, Sep 27, 2009 IP: 67.220.8.86 Hello - I have a vintage oil painting. It is signed on front but I cannot tell what the character means - or even what language. It looks maybe even Korean? In style, it reminds me of some of the Japanese Takeshi Hayashi paintings I've seen, but what does the signature say? |

Posted By: Mon, Sep 28, 2009 IP: 199.94.42.152 my guess is Korean also. the roof seems quite similar to the major preserved gates in Seoul, for example, and the signature seems a cursive version of hangul, but i'm sorry I don't know what exactly. |
