Hello Kareem and Toan,
Toan is right about the symbol. This is the "Solid Lozenge". I suppose the flowers in the sprigs are red and not pink??? (looks pink on the photo).

Regards,

Arjan

Here's another dish, approximately 13 inches in diameter, which piece also appears to be Kangxi, though it has a double foot rim and symbolic leaf mark, whereas yours has a standard foot and lozenge mark. It is difficult to judge the age of some dishes like these, because many Kangxi-era patterns were reissued during the late Qing 'Kangxi Revival'.

Best regards,

Bill H

What would be the signs of Kangxi or Kangxi revival? Will check up on the colour Arjan. Will take me a time though. Thanks to you all.

My family has been antique collectors, more oriental carpets, as we are ME background, but some China. Can you suggest some good readings and learning approaches, Ive been researching and its becoming a fascinating hobby. Spent the day in Victoria and Albert Museum China department and many hours on the internet. Ive noticed that many have marks and many others dont have them. i understand the ones without were export either for Middle East or Europe. is that right? I really appreciate your comments. Thank you. Kareem
