I have a carved ivory dragon rest for two brushes, five inches long, but I have seen longer rests that still only accomodate two brushes. Just a thought, Jim |

Posted By: Wed, Jul 25, 2012 IP: 96.233.32.25 I think SEAsian is the right track. these dragons don't look like any Chinese versions I've seen, and are most likely not chariot fittings, which in China were typically functional items such as axle caps or joinery hardware, whereas these appear purely decorative |
