Hello
Does someone have any idea about my Chinese vessel? I have examined it under microscope and am pretty convinced that it is old.
Thanks in advance,
XR

Hello,

Personally I have the worry on those 5 holder point on bottom, it looks not quite natural,if genuine, it comes from Ge Kiln, Sung dynasty.

Best Wishes from Xiamen,
Mex Cai

I have seen this type of vessel and the markings at the bottom, which is method used in ancient times to prop up the porcelain for firing. The colour and cracker looks right, that is from the song dynasty. Compare with a museum piece or sent it to auction house who can authenticate for free.
