Subject:Chinese Cabinet - Help To Identify Wood & To Date

The pics show a small rounded corner Chinese scholar's cabinet (21"H x 15 1/2"W x 8 1/8"D) that has exquisitely matched wood grain doors and sides. When I rub my hand over the wood, I can feel slight indentations or waves between the dark grain lines. The wood appears to shimmer. I would appreciate your help in identifying the wood and establishing when this cabinet was made.

Learned wood type from expert source a few months ago.
Also learned that cabinet is early-mid Qing.
Researched several cabinets made from longyanmu on Christies site. Appreciate your assistance but not willing to entertain offers to purchase at this time.

Yes I would concur, but would sooner say early than mid. Take a look at the one that sold at Bonhams.
