Subject:Teapot from Ming
Posted By: Anne Fri, Mar 14, 2014 IP: 218.212.120.47

We actually inquired with some other antique seller who said that the teapot does look old and may have a better chance of being antique.

Could you help take a look please? Personally I thought the bottom markings looks like it was just written on later.

Thank you.

Definitely Ming dynasty vase with characteristic bird and white/ blue glaze used by commoner.

Definitely not Ming,it doesn't even look like proper cobalt, and since when did Ming (Chengua) have squared off handles and spouts !!!
