Subject:Help Please?
Posted By: Annie Mon, Mar 17, 2014 IP: 108.230.217.171

I recently purchased simply because it makes me smile. Any help Identifying the marks, style, age, or anything at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so very much for your help.

Chinese painting of "buddha's hand" citron fruit, by someone surnamed Wu, but I can't make out the given name from the inscription. could be quite recent or up to 100 years old or so, hard to say from your pics.

The seal reads WuXi 吳璽. Wu is a family name, Xi means a seal - usually of the ruler.

The signature reads JunShi 君石 - Mister Stone.

While the photo is a little distant, it appears to illustrate a citrus fruit called Buddha's Hand.
