Subject:Toyokuni and Hiroshige Ukiyo-e Triptych
Posted By: Dennis W Sat, Mar 22, 2014 IP: 72.49.4.150 I recently purchased this set of prints at an estate sale. Can anyone give me information or value of these printd? I got them for $350.00 with matting and frame. The seem to be very old and have bleed though to back of print. I found one site listing it but it was a museum site. I believe the title is Genji Sumanoura (Prince Genji at Suma Beach) |

Posted By: Stan Mon, Mar 24, 2014 The artists are Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III) signing as Toyokuni. The print looks like it dates from the late 1840s. The date/censor seal is too small to read. |
