Subject:Tall Blue and White Vase Mounted as a Lamp

Hello!

I am trying to find out as much as I can about this Blue and White vase from my grandmother's collection.

It was mounted as a lamp, but the lamp parts need replacing, so I removed the parts, but cannot get the bottom off! It is glued on, so I think it may need some solvent to get it off. Because of that, I can't see the bottom, and am having a really hard time figuring out it's age and anything else about it!

If anyone can help me find out more information about it, based on everything but the bottom, that would be fantastic, and very much appreciated!

Can anyone figure out it's age, era, or anything else without the bottom?

It's almost 18" tall, and I believe it was my grandmother that had the vase mounted as a lamp in the 1940's/50's. She was a collector of Asian antiques, and I was told she bought it in her "antique-ing" travels.

I'm not sure if it will help to also post a photo of the inside of the vase, but, just in case, I will. Just try to ignore the glue around the top that I haven't tried to get off yet.
