Subject:Jade Foo Creatures?

Posted By: Bill H Tue, Apr 15, 2014 These look like the winged leonine creatures that are called either "bixie" or "tianlu" in China. See the link for further details. The term "chimera" sometimes is used to describe them in Western terms. Large ones in stone are among the animals that line the approach to the Ming tombs. |
