Subject:Re: Buddha head -Javanese- Guan Yin?

I have to admit, I don't know much. But I am Chinese born and grown up in Middle Java Indonesia, an antique lover and collector.
If I could comment: Guan Yin or for us Kwan Iem is Chinese Goddess. Chinese Indonesian at least as far I know never made stone statue. Only porcelain or brass. Always small, never seen that size.
Indonesian Buddhist does, but her profile,
especially her nose is too "sharp" for Indonesian.
May be Indian. But who knows, since almost all heads of Greater India territory (Pakistan, India, Tibet, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Laos, Champa, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia and The Philippines) statues are cut off by robbers. I can't compare them.
Hold on tight, Indonesia economy is growing very fast. They might buy back everything in the future like the Chinese does.
