Subject:Identifying type of painting
Posted By: Dave Tue, May 13, 2014 IP: 71.163.183.76

I posted this in the other forum as well. Can anyone help me with this pair of oil paintings? Have owned them for 20+ years. Believe they are early 1800's but could be wrong. They are on very fine cloth but do not believe it is silk. Any information of what they are would be helpful. It appears they are a representation of a village child and their attire. They measure a little more than 9" by 6" wide. Thank you in advance.
