Posted By: stephanie rippel Sun, Jun 22, 2014 IP: 71.210.255.79 I have owned these two matching vases for at least 20 years and have not been able to find anything out about them I would be interested in any help that I can get. There are no marks on the bases. They stand 3 feet tall each. The design is a series of scattered raised dots.

Posted By: Bill H Tue, Jun 24, 2014 Your vases appear to be of a type that were made in China after about 1975 in imitation of Japanese Satsuma wares. Some similarly decorated wares carry marks of "Royal Satsuma" or "Imperial Satsuma". Here's a link to earlier forum thread showing a marked example in the first photo.
