Subject:Chinese vase with carved mark on side

Any info about this type of vase or the artist is greatly appreciated. It was a wedding gift given in the '60s by the Consul General of China in Los Angeles to the daughter of the Consul General of Japan in Los Angeles.

Mikeoz, thanks very much for this info. I have found nothing like it on the internet...I feel like I must be the sole owner of a piece by this artist.

Rat is right, I was wrong. But I have no idea why my incorrect post appeared twice. It made it look like I was arguing with Rat, which of course I wasn't.

Wu Tui Bai it is. Try Googling that.

Rat and Mikeoz, many thanks. I'll find what I can on google and baidu. Mikeoz, I saw the double post before Rat posted so I knew it was a glitch like my duplicate photos.
