Subject:Seto? plaque of Nitta Yoshidsada?
Posted By: Keith Searing Wed, Jul 02, 2014 IP: 109.157.76.95

I have a ceramic plaque of what appears to be a Samurai throwing his sword into the sea. We call it the Japanese King Arthur. Someone said it was possibly produced by the Seto pottery. Can anyone shed any light on it? Image attached... I think I have a rubbing of embossed Japanese characters on the back which I've mislaid - I'll recreate it and post it if needed. Thanks.
