Both are Chinese, the horses in the style of Xu Beihong and painted in recent decades, the landscape in "Orthodox" Qing style and likely not much older, compare it to paintings by Wang Shimin and Wang Jian of the late 17th century, and Huang Gongwang before them of the Yuan dynasty.
