Subject:Is this a nippon teacup?

Any thoughts much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
It does not say "made in Nippon" on the bottom, but the painting, on the interior of the cup, reminded of Nippon.

Certainly Japanese but probably made in the post-Nippon era, or after about 1921 and either exported under a paper label or as part of a set of dishes that cleared customs in its labeled crate. This cup & saucer are transfer-decorated in what is commonly if not mistakenly called the "Geisha" motif.

Best regards,

Bill H.
