Subject:Need info about this burl wood & Ivory box

Hello guys,
I have this wonderful box made out of burl \ yew wood.
It has Ivory Inlaid edges and base + hand carved plaque on the top which seems to be chinese \ japanese.

could realy use some info like : Age, origin, use.. etc
