Subject:Sancai lead glazed plate with a hole?

Hi everyone,

I have this unusual looking plate which looks to me like Sancai pottery, not too sure. It also has this unusual hole in the middle, I'm quite curious to know what it might have been used for or whether its just a decorative piece. if someone can give me a little more information that would be greatly appreciated.

The green makes me think it is Ming sancai as opposed to Tang or Qing.... Think it may be the lid of an item as opposed to the base
